Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.

Hi to all my computer expert friends!!

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Request header field is missing ':' separator.

I have this strange message coming up now with nearly all websites I try to visit...& these are ones that I visit regularly. It happened suddenly today & only happens with FF. I have Windows 7 & if I use IE there's not a problem I have tried getting help from FF but so far nothing. I'm sure this is not the first time & hopefully someone out there will recognise this & be able to tell me how to correct it???

Many thanks in advance for ANY help at all

    Hi Ahimsa,

Why don't you try this first.

I assume the problem could only come from FFox.
Uninstall completely Firefox and all add-on from your pc.
Then download a brand new FF and re install without the add-on.
Then install the add-on one by one to ascertain that if any of the add-on was the cause of the problem!

I haven't had this problem, but when FF updated automatically to the new version, I had nothing but problems - especially slow loading of pages and images. It seems that the new version of FF still has some kinks in it. I uninstalled and then installed v.7 and my problems went away. I made sure to uncheck the 'automatic updating' option in FF.
