From what i see online dot info is the cheapest extension to get for a domain name.

when give out unfamiliar extension
a lot of people still ask; need to add dot com after info, biz?

That's just to show how embeded in everybody's mind is the .com
it is just like toothpaste. When you go into a shop to buy toothpaste,
nobody ever ask for toothpaste but instead they refer to toothpaste by their brand name.

The same with the internet. When you think of it you will always associate it with .com and not something else.
