I'd recommend that you lay out the cash for a vBulletin forum. Installing stuff like this on a vB forum is as easy as uploading a single file.

I agree totally about vb. I just did a whole forum from start to finish and imported about 6000 users from phpbb2. Not only is it EASIER to manage and customize via css and to skin, it also does away with the need for alot of MODS. You can customize the user profile fields for registration, and almost totally rid yourself of bots.

Hi Aliens Anonymous, can I Install this mod in the phpbb2 ? Alas Id 6500
Yes...that was what this thread has been talking about all along, Alas!
But, as you might have picked up from all the previous posts, installing a MOD in phpBB is not the easiest thing to do, especially for an average 'novice" and it is often easier to have some help.
You can get AliensAnonymous to help you if you contact him via his website (look in center section, top right).
He is very willing, and incredibly affordable.....
OMG! No wonder I never ended up creating a forum, even though I tried two or three different ones ~~~ they're just a royal pain in the tail for everyone, huh?!
WHERE to I get the one I just pay for??? I'm all up for simple ~~~
OH,and does that forum you were talkingabout (vbulletin, I think) work with master pages and style sheets? I'd love it all the more if I could pass the look of the rest of my website on to my forum =)
