Phpbb3 and google adsense

Soon to take the plunge to try to move my forums from 2 to 3, but just before I do it, is there anything I should know about adding the google adsense to the forum? I am presuming it won't convert over, and I'll have to add the code again.

Does it go in the same place?

The conversion well not bring any modifications you've done to your phpbb2.
there is a mod for adding AdSense but at the moment only to the bottom or in the header, there is one that adds to viewthread but this one has not been finished or released. to see a demo of the first one see my phpbb3 forum.
