    PhP Attachment Extensions

I have recently installed phpbb onto my site and everything is going well; however, I am at a loss at how to change the attachment extensions.

Basically what I want to do is simple, i think. I am using only the default settings and no extra features. When a member makes a post they are able to include attachments; however some attachments are not allowed. I would like to allow some of these extensions, such as .w3x (its a Map for a video game).

Where would I go to change this? I assume it is in a file as I can not find it in the Admin Control Panel of phpbb.

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: PhP Attachment Extensions

I assume you are using phpbb3 as phpbb2 didn't have attachments without a mod.

Login to your admin panel -> Postings tab -> manage extensions -> add your extension without the "."

I would assume the group you select will determine the header output when the file is downloaded. I would probably choose "downloadable file" for the extension your are wanting to add.

Do you use a Password Protected Directory? Need a way to allow users to make their own account, try my .htaccess Login Script
