A Family Forum?

Hi,
I want to creat a family forum for the purpose of allowing three different families, Avery, Aldrich, and Clute to communicate, post news, download photo's, etc. These three families are related and the relationship goes back to the mid 1800's. I would also like to have this forum private for the use of all the cousin's. Family members joining would have to seek permission. After permission is granted, they would have almost all the rights as the administrator.

Can it be done?

A forum is a most complex script involving HTML / CSS / PHP / MySQL . There are both paid and free forum scripts that you can use as it is very difficult creating one on your own using BV (it will require years of work by a single person)

You can install phpBB forum, completely free and automatically, through your VodaHost account Control Panel as it is one of the scripts with autoinstaller that you get for free when you purchase a VoDahost Account. phpBB is the moste reliable and evoluted forum scripts, it allows you to set the permissions for guests / members / moderators / administrators and can be visually customized using one of the (many) free or paid for templates available on the net.
