Multiple sites forum

Question - I notice in my forum admin (yes, I'm finally working on my art forum) that I could add a new forum. Is this where I add a forum for my new food site?

No, that's a different thing entirely. For the purposes of the forum you're working on, you have Categories which contain Forums which contain Topics (or threads).

You'd need to do a second install from Fantastico for a forum on the new site.
