It only illustrates the failings of the display to properly convey it's purpose and "relevancy" (LOL don't you hate that "r" word by now???).

My favorite saying since 4th grade has been "It's all a matter of perspective" for good reason. It works in every such situation as a trusim, and serves to remind ME to be patient and empathetic to perspectives I might have overlooked.

Don't get blue over it! Laugh it off, as it was just what the doctor ordered for your day to remind you how human, how frail and imperfect we all are, despite our good intentions!

Gotta love open mouth insert foot!...all been there dont that!...me usually I dont stop at the foot I tend to get deeper than that..
You would think that there would have been more of an explaination of the display. but maybe thats exactly the reaction they were hoping for, and I couldnt have thought of a better person to show them the 'other' side of thought!..hehe.

I gotta dmit, when I bothered to lift up my head and look above the merchandize level, there were posters hanging on a partition enclosure they have set up around their stool.. but hell, what they did was like having loads of cocaine and heroin on a stand inviting drug users to talk about quitting drugs.. I don't think it works like that.. LOL.

Oh well.. at least now they know, there's a guy in the neighborhood that wouldn't exchange his corocodile skin ***** for 8 dolphins, 10 bears, 12 tigers and 20 whales.. LOL

And you're right about showing them the other side of thought.. No holding back here Kate.. I'll always be like this til the day I get punched to death..LOL

trekking sounds great...star trekking, voda trekking, space treking...ummm ...sorry being very cheeky...lol.

I would love to go trekking ...only if you promise there is raspbery dark chocolate at the end of hte trek...hehe...I need motivation to not whine nad get through it...lol....being cheeky again...lol

Oooo...I forgot to send you recipe..here it is for all to enjoy...really good on a cold evening ..served witha scoop of real vanill a ice cream...hehe


Peach Cobbler

Ingredients
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 (16 oz.) can of peaches in light syrup
1/2 stick of butter

Method

Pre-heat oven to 350
Melt butter in a baking dish (one of the big/long rectangular ones 9x5 (I think))
Mix the first 3 ingredients (self-rising flour, sugar and milk) and make batter.
Pour batter into butter.
Drain syrup from peaches and place randomly in batter
Bake for 35-45 minutes until golden on top and nice crust develops(depends on your oven ..some get hotter than others)
Brush a little butter on top towads end of baking to givea real golden look.

Cut and sere warm with ice cream or just plain.

PS... I've used olive oil as a substitute when I ran out of butter and it came out fine.
I also reduce the sugar to half in my recipe cause I don't like it too sweet.
I've also replaced the peaches with pine***** chunks and it's equally as good. Cherry filling comes out too chewy.
