  • worn out golfer -

Robert went to see his doctor. He wasn't feeling
well at all. He felt tired, run down, and generally
    suffering from exhaustion.

"My diagnosis is simply that you are worn out," said
the doctor. "I believe you've been playing too much golf."

"Too much golf," exclaimed Robert. "What can I do?"

"You need to take some time off and relax," said the
doctor. "My advice to you is to spend some time at the office."

I live alongside a golf course, close to the 17th hole, and by the time golfers get here they are either wiped out from doing poorly or over-amped from doing well..
Either way they need a break! Or a drink..

(he he) Thats what the 19th Hole is for. Relaxing and forgetting what happened on the previous 18 holes. But gotta love the game!!!

Excellent suggestion. Can't believe I didn't think if it! ..
As a child I remember watching my cats stealing the golf balls when they came rolling up onto the green..they would grab the balls from the green and bring them over the fence to me,,
You can only imagine how frustrated golfers were to not find them when they finally got up there. The phrase 'hopping mad' comes to mind..
But I figured it sort of balanced out with all the balls the bad golfers shot over the fence into our house and yard, and sometimes windows, over the years.....

                        aahh memories..

Oh well, you know golfers - there is always a reason it didn't get there....just like fishermen with the one that got away.

Is okay with me. I have golfed and fished, and am fine with being the excuse d'jour lol

Had a discussion the other day - we realised that golf is the only sport where the better you get the less exercise it is!
