Sorry I know this is not the place for web help, but it is massive, right in the corner of my room near the ceiling, my partners freaking out and I am terrified the big spidery thing will come back.
Any advice?

When in doubt...run from room to room screaming unti lthe neighbours call the police and then let them get rid of the spidery thing...or spray it to death with BAYGONE...GOOD LUCK...lol
If you really need web help, there are a few options here in VodaLand to get someone to assist you, like VodaBids and the Classifieds.
I'll be starting a little sideline thing soon, and am willing to entertain your project. I'm not cheap, but I'm good. Ask around, and pop me an email if you should be so venturous.
Have you thought of calling Spiderman? This could be one web he is looking for .........
I did Holly, but the problem is we have just painted our house with burglar proof paint, so well he could not get up the walls. I asked if he could maybe spin a web from the house across the road!! He said "Don't be daft that's just in the movies silly" : (

get some silicone sealer at Home Depot, (about $2) and seal the cracks
at the molding. The bug will exit some other place. (maybe your sisters
room!), or maybe the shower!
