I'm bringing my peach cobbler and some real SCOTCHIES JErk chicken and Pork. If you all ever get down here ..you have to have SCOTCHIES ...it's the ultimate in Jerk chicken. Hmmmm...making me hungry....lol....ok and I'll bring lots of Redstripe, *****ton Rum and Ting (for the non-alkis...hehhe)

Dammm...when's the party again..we need to start it NOW...lol

YA...i heard of the rotten crop of blueberries....uh huh..sure i believe that you greedy women...i saw the crumbs all overthe floor while CL and i cleaned up ...you can't fool us...BUT we got our own secrets and stashes and we're not sharing...lol

Nah, I'm not fooled either Beez....they keeping it for themselves...terrible to do that (slides you a cupcake, while they're not looking) nudge, nudge...we ate the crumbs off the floor we could tell Kate made the blueberry cake.....that's fine...(passing Beez a chocolate bar, bag of chips, bannana and a frosty cold TING) ssssssh they aren't looking, it started off everybody sharing....hmmmm

Quite surprised about the rotten blueberry cake, Kate. Aw, have a cupcake...I'll share with you anyhoo. Right Beez? We're not greedy, we share...yep yep yep

Walks away and notices the pantry door open....hmmmm....silver dome on the platter is half off, walks over lifts the dome.....AHA! Beez...I found the cake! ssssshhhh gobble, yum, slurp.....save some for Beez, but where? Top cupboard Beez......some blueberry cake for you...ssssssssssssshhh

Some chicken and chocolate icecream there too.....I arrived at the right time...I found the stash...hee hee

Here's your recipie for the chicken ...

It's mighty spicy

Jamaican Jerk Chicken

This is one of our all-time favorite recipes! I saved it from a newsgroup or forum posting years ago, but was recently told it was from the cookbook, "The Sugar Reef Carribean Cookbook," by Devra Dedeaux. See the Amazon link to the right to learn more about the cookbook (used copies should be available).
1 tablespoon Ground allspice
1 tablespoon Dried thyme
1 1/2 teaspoons Cayenne pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons Freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons Ground sage
3/4 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons Garlic powder or fresh
1 tablespoon Sugar
1/4 cup Olive oil
1/4 cup Soy sauce
3/4 cup White Vinegar
1/2 cup Orange juice
1 Lime juice
1 Scotch bonnet pepper (habanero)
3 Green onions -- finely chopped
1 cup Onion -- finely chopped
4 to 6 chicken breasts



So maybe we should eat all of this ourselves!!
