        i used to work in south central LA - never left anything in site in my car - the doors lock automatically when the engine is turned on - always aware of who and what was around me - my job entailed stopping car getting out unlocking gates getting back in car driving through then getting out to relock. (at city schools) I NEVER left the car running or keys in or the doors unlocked - also carried a big wrench under front seat - never wore jewelry - dont miss that job -
        but learned a lot vegas is getting almost as bad
