I've recently signed up w/ Voda Host after spending lots of time here looking around. A great comfort level knowing there's so much help available. I have lots of questions, but will get to those later...Am told I have to wait 60 days to transfer my domain name, so I guess I have plenty of time before I can publish my site and ask advice! In the meantime, enjoying the learning experience of building a web site!

(It is rather important to keep your important emails and documentation straight with regard to administrating your websites and domains....sorry you found out the hard way so soon!)

You know you really don't need to actually transfer your domain over to VodaHost (just make DNS changes to point to your VH website), and you are correct in assuming that you should get busy building your site right away. You will be surpirised at how simply it actually is.

"Plan Your Work, Work Your Plan" .... That pretty much sums it all up.
Work with a defined purpose in a logical and methodical manner, and your results will be reliably forthcoming.

You can always find "solutions" to every challenge you face by Searching the forums... they have all been answered before, and in such a variety of forms that there is bound to be one that "clicks" for you.

DNS changes? HHMMM.... I will look for that info in the forum. I'm about far enough along to want to publish my site so I can make the necessary tweaks...and very anxious to see if my Flash is working!
So, being able to use my D name would be great!

lol Vasili ... you really do not know how that "ham" is so very, very, very, up close and personal to me .... I'll let you in on a little secret that happened when I opened my very first bank account at the age of 17, the bank lady said to me, hmmm ....... holly ann marie .... "ham"
and those that know me at times call me "ham", all relative to my initials, not my personality, ho ho ho ..... Fact not Fiction! :)
