Quite smoking completely.

Yeah....still "sneak" about 4-5 a day (when stressed, I guess) and the more and more infrequent cigar......it's time to set it all aside.....

(excuuuuuuuse me! we all have challenges, you know!! and since I no longer drink, it's the last to go)

Giving up cigars is easier for me....fewer nice places allow it, fewer good people to share, and less time for anything but a "quickie" macanudo.

Stuff is more complicated nowadays, and LOTS of things aren't really fun anymore.....becoming more anti-social because I'm not much of a "fighter" for vices or popensity....

Remember, I graduated in 1978.....I saw your picture.....my hair was almost as long as yours back then, and the only thing you could do about redEYE was swim in Visine!

I resolve not to give up things at News Years that I know I cannot possibly go without. Don't smoke, rarely drink then only Tequila, Herradura reposada ain't givin that up. Resolve to make a killing and get the hell out of Dodge.

Mine is to give up drinking!!! Easy to do with type of beers one can get in Vietnam (mainly lager ) and Vietnamese wine is like drinking 100% alcohol. The only trouble is if you go out for a meal with Vietnamese people or go to one of their party's they won't take No for an answer. Have lasted till now - but will have to see what happens!!!!!

My other reasolution is to take a holiday to see my son and daughter back in England in the summer - don't think I will be able to stand cold weather now after living in Vietnam.

Reminds me of my return to California after living in Florida for 10 years.....I was cold to the bone for over a year, and I have come to believe that it will never be quite the same again.
Funny how that came up in my Index of Life's Issues......
