Sliding Menu Help Needed

I have watched and watched and read and read all the threads that I can find on this subject. I have created my menu buttons, just like it says to in the bvtutorial. However, when I preview in the browser it doesn't show up. What am I doing? I cannot get it work. This is 3 hours now of researching and watching and reading....and frustration!! I cannot get the 'dropdown' part of it to work. What do I need to do? Thanks for any and all help!
