Lets see, now, Resolute Bay was the last place mentioned, so the next one starts with a "Y" ..
    Yeman

and my factoid for Yeman is this:
Yeman is situated on the southern tip of the Arabian peninsula. It is often referred to as the mythical land of frankincense and myrrh, lying at the crossroads of the ancient Spice route, a land long shrouded in mysteries, home of the famous Queen of Sheba.

Any special reason to specify including bears? Do they have any wild boars and orang hutans there? Just curious.

            Ende,
            Indonesia
Ende is the capital of the Ende Regency, East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia. Ende is located on the southern coast of Flores Island. With a population of 60,000 residents,[citation needed] it is the biggest city on the island.
Ende was the site of a kingdom that existed around the end of 18th century. The people of the area therefore known as Lio-Ende people. For many decades Ende has been a center of government, trade, education, and political activities.
Rebellion against the Dutch was led by a certain Nipa Do known as the the wars of Watu Api and Mari Longa (1916-1917). In 1934, the nationalist leader, Soekarno, who later became Indonesian first president was exiled to Ende by the Dutch colonial government.
The town Ende can be reached by aircraft from Denpasar, Bali.

Timor is a country in Southeast Asia. The small country is located about 400 miles (640 km) northwest of Darwin, Australia.
Colonized by Portugal in the sixteenth century, East Timor was known as Portuguese Timor for centuries. It was invaded and occupied by Indonesia in 1975 and declared the country's 27th province the following year. Following the 1999 UN-sponsored act of self-determination that year, Indonesia relinquished control of the territory and East Timor became the first new sovereign state of the twenty-first century and of the third millennium on May 20, 2002. Alongside the Philippines, East Timor is one of only two predominantly Roman Catholic countries in Asia.
At $800, East Timor has one of the lowest per capita GDP (Purchasing Power Parity adjusted) in the world. Its Human Development Index (HDI), however, corresponds to a medium degree of human development and places East Timor 142nd among the world's nations.

                    Good information.

Riau is one of the richest provinces in Indonesia. This province is rich with natural resources, particularly petroleum and natural gas, rubber, and **** oil.
The province was once heavily forested lowlands, but with **** oil plantations and logging being major industries it is losing around 2.000 square km of forest per year. In 2005 the forest cover was down to 33% (or 27.000 square km) from 78% (or 64.000 square km) in 1982.

In the near future a lot countires will have no winter and no more can walk bare footed in summer.

                        Nova Scotia
                        Canada

                        History
The name Yarmouth first appeared as a projected township in Nova Scotia in 1759. There is some speculation it was named after Yarmouth, Massachusetts, as some of the earliest English settlers arrived from Cape Cod on 9 June 1761. It is more likely the Township was named after Lady Yarmouth, a mistress of King George II.
Originally the area was part of Lunenburg County. In 1761 it became part of Queens County; in 1784 part of Shelburne County and finally became a County on its own in 1836. The description of Yarmouth County was modified in 1846.
The largest town is Yarmouth which is one of three municipalities that comprise the County. The others are the District of the Municipality of Yarmouth and the District of the Municipality of Argyle. The latter was established as a separate district in 1856 from the Township of Argyle. The county also includes the Yarmouth Indian reserve.

                              Hangtown, California,now known as Placerville

Placerville was also known as "Hangtown" in its’ early days. Although many stories exist on how this name was acquired, the most famous story involved a colorful event that occurred in January of 1849. A gambler named Lopez gained a lot of attention for his big winnings at a local saloon. After he retired for the evening, several men tried to overpower him. Lopez fought back, and with the help of others, the robbers were captured. During their "flogging", three of the robbers were also accused of being wanted for a murder and robbery , and hung.
