    Did You Know...?

Which other countries, besides the U.S., do not use the metric system?

According to a survey taken by USMA (U.S. Metric Association) many years ago, the only other countries that have not officially adopted the metric system are Liberia (in western Africa) and Burma (also known as Myanmar, in Southeast Asia).

And most advance used of Metric system countires are :
    1. Jamaica
    2. Canada
    3. New Zealand

We go one better in the UK, we have both! You buy your fuel by the litre, measure your economy in miles per gallon, order your drinks by the pint, walk a mile, sprint 100 metres, measure your vehicle speed in miles per hour and the wind speed in metres per second. Rulers and tape measures have both inches and centimetres, bathroom scales have pounds, stones and kilos.

Come to the UK, it's great man!
