Personally, I think it best to first dive when you are old enough to drink but not old enough to rent a car.....that way you are not fully aware of all the risks and can still have all the fun! LOLOriginally posted by larazovich View Post
I have over 300 jumps logged in my book from the days I was a Ranger .... it became so routine that we would jump on our own on leave just to do crazy and fun stuff! But, alas.....age caught up to me, and if I jump again I risk never walking again (fractured 3L vertebrae)....

I think you will have a blast, and likely pick up a new addiction too! Almost everyone I have ever encountered enjoys diving immensely.
Tandem jumping is pretty much as safe as safe can be........
I am simply recalling the greater sense of security that comes from packing your own chutes, that's all.....

I'm thinking that I'm going for a nice little fluffy skydive...you know "fuffy"
.....ha ha there's catapulting too....ha ha, ha ha......this catapult flings you into the sky 160 feet @ 45 mph.....where you feel the G Force on the way up & on the way down.......and they do it again.......ha ha ha...

oh yeah.......then there's the insanity ride & the X-Scream where they fling you over the edge......ha ha ha ha ....ha
