And thank you about the gallery. I love having these babies around. Its so fun watching them discover new things, and once one does it, everyone else in the tanks 'light bulb' goes off in their head and they do it too. Its just a blast! Lots of work and money though, lol.

This is good news Trish......a little mold may be nothing....

          Re: Name that Egg!

Update, right. The egg with the mould has had to be thrown out - not quite sure which one it was, but I'm sure it wasn't one of the named ones! We've set up the new vivarium, but no sign of any hatching yet!

Fingers crossed everyone that we don't loose more!

Weather has turned very cold, so the temp in the incubator has been going down a bit a night (especially when our heating packed up last weekend - fixed now!) so I'm hoping that it will only slow things down, and won't harm the little blighters!

Could be anytime now - or another 4 weeks!

Don't worry - as soon as I have a pic it will be up on here!

Day 68 and still waiting! Just found out that though they can hatch from 60 days, they can take over 100!

I'll probably end up beating the record! LOL

Are the ones that are due to hatch still really plump? You know you are 2 days to 1 week away when the eggs start to deflate. Sometimes they dimple but mine have always just deflated. Kind of like a balloon with a slow leak. Mine typically hatch in about 58 days. Lower temps mean longer incubation times. What are your temps?

The temp is around 82 - 83 f, so I know it's around the lower end. The eggs are still nice and plump and no sign of deflating yet! Just getting fed up with all this waiting! LOL

Next time incubate at a slightly higher temps ( around 85*) and I bet that they hatch out by day 62.

                      Keep us posted!
