    End of Year Poem

I don't confess to being a poet:- but I thought you might enjoy this one:-

    The E-commerce Merchants’ Year

What another successful year of trading!
    All quotes exceeded,
    All orders dispatched on time,
+ we’re no. 1 on Yahoo for every key phrase we know.
    All book-keeping is done,
    All customers are satisfied,
& our visitor numbers continue to grow.
    Our profits are soaring,
    Our linking partners number grows
& even Google adwords now earns us a wage.
    Our affiliates swomp us,
    & we’re amazed to find
our conversion ratio is increasing with each new ad we try.
    Our success has it’s catches,
As it seems wherever we go,
All friends & family are eager to know,
if Oprah has asked us to appear on her show.

    Re: End of Year Poem

Hi Pioneervicky! Does the ending of the poem have anything to do with the flapping of wings? Just wanted you to know that I really find the offerings on your site, aboriginalarttreasures to be very interesting. Here in Arizona I have been a tour guide for many years off and on and have gotten to know the Hopi people and their culture and history quite well. There are many similarities with your ancestors. Fascinating! Anyways, thanks for the poem and Merry Christmas and the best of everything to you and yours in the coming year..

If there hadn't been women we'd still be squatting in a cave eating raw meat, because we made civilization in order to impress our girl friends. And they tolerated it and let us go ahead and play with our toys. Orson Wells
