I know, I know, this is going to throw a wrench in the works of things; but the mistake was made, not by me. I only found it. Sorry Vasili, I know it's your game, but if it did not work for adele, it can not for you either.
Deleting the i (coin) and adding the e (cone) in another spot does not follow your rules of changing a letter.
Same for you sedona, droping the e in cone and adding the o in coon does not work! So...
we are back to coin
I think the Boss has to clarify point 2......his original rules are: Rules: You cannot add letters You cannot use foreign languages (English only) You can only change one letter
So...until he does -
rain he..he
It is acceptable to "drop a letter and insert a new letter anywhere in the word to create the new word" but it is not acceptable to re-arrange the letters to suit a solution, as you might playing Scrabble. That would defeat the whole purpose of the challenge. The Original Rules stand, with the amplified explanation of permissions to being able to drop a letter and insert a new one anywhere in the word as long as the order of the letters remains the same.
Further, Ahimsa and Germansin are more correct in their Forum Decorum than Travelinman by deferring to not only reasonable consensus, but by not trying to usurp the way things are structured. Nothing permits Travelinman to take things upon himself to change things or to tell me what to do: anyone could have made the effort to dig deeper in the thread to see not only my use of the Rules, but similar explanations to others made earlier.
