The ball will change colors when clicked on ... hoping to inspire you to continue as it chews up your life time!

Remember those practical demonstrations at the Science Museums that "measure" your reaction time by trying to 'catch' a falling ruler? Think of that applied to this:
1. Since the cursor compels the animation to respond according to when it is within the 'field', simply take the 'string' and move the end of it to the upper-left of the 'box' and then run the cursor off the field entirely;
2. The string will now be "locked" into position, and be quite still, hanging alonside the left vertical border of the 'box';
3. position the cursor about a half-inch lower than the ball on the outside of the box near the border, ready to roll over into the box, anticipating your reaction time to be able to actually roll over and click on the ball once it freefalls as the cursor releases it once inside the box.

That's explains my hint earlier about "gravity" being the key.

It may take once or twice to figure out how best to judge your own reaction time, and to reasonably estimate the speed at which the ball falls, but you will get the hang of it .... and then it's not fun anymore!

Reminds me of the tests given when in third and fourth grade, but you had to be 16 to become a member of that "organization" that people talk about with such snobbery and self-importance.


Funny! Seems to be most people have some "unexplained" predelection for pink!
