Another newbie!

Hi to all. I'm totally new to all this web design/web site hosting stuff, so go easy on me lol. I managed to create a website using one of the free website sites, which was fine, but found it wouldnt show on search engines. Not much use!! Had suggestions from google about changing tags in the root folder,] etc, but as it was a freeby site, I didnt have access to any of that. So my brother told me about blue voda.........downloaded it and have made a front/home page that i'm really impressed with it! Great piece of software!. I'll be getting blue voda to host it aswell!!
