Just seeing if I can get this right. Have never been in a forum before, so please be gentle with me! What is the difference between a thread and a post? Looking forward to progressing to website building in due course. This site looks good.

Well you just created both, your first "post" for a new question is a "thread", all subsquent replies to that thread are also "posts". Understand?
thread = new topic
post = any reply or question asked -

Way to go Pete just need to let the thread going so we could sew something and it's fun to gain promotion without the military tactics and all that stuff.Comment
