    Slow Pictures

    1) When I look at my pics in B/V (preview) they load instantly. But when I look at them after they have been published they take forever to upload.
    2) The pics also look good on my camera screen, but getting them from piXresizer, they ALWAYS come back larger than I want them.

    play around with the setting with pix resizer. The reason they load slow is because they are very heavy. The lighter you make them the faster they will load.

        heavy means actual file size .

        1 Megabyte

        5 Kilobytes

        kb
        mb
        gb

        etc....

        Large file sizes reduce download and transfer speeds.

          You might want to try the following, enter into the html box or body tag

          Don't forget to change the http part link to you picture in your public folder

          <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript1.1">
          img1 = new Image
          img1.src = "http//your site/image"
          img2 = new Image
          img2.src = "http//your site/image"
          img3 = new Image
          img3.src = "http//your site/image"
          img4 = new Image
          img4.src = "http//your site/image"

          </SCRIPT>

          This will preload your images before the page comes about and will speed thing up a bit
