Mrs. Sonia Gandhi was in Mysore, the second largest city of Karnataka state after Bengaluru,to inaugerate the educational and research hub of Infosys,probabely the largest and most modern in all respects.The building itself is a architectural marvel and has cost Infosys close to $500 million to build it.
Mrs. Gandhi looked thrilled to be there and in her inaugural address jokingly remarked that she was wonderstruck by the imposing structure and would like to.." bunk the political class for a couple of days to be here"..whenever she can get the opportunity.It was such a honest statement by a person whose profession allows her little freedom to do so.
