I am having menu button issues. I publish a page and it effects buttons on the rest of the site. Buttons are changing names. Had a button I published as order now change to "aging". What a nightmare. HELP!!

    Re: Menu button issue

The first time you create a button, BV will give it a unique name. If you copy and past the button and then change one copy, that can change all copies. To solve this, don't copy buttons you intend to modify--create them again as you did the first one.

Right, I get that now, after i am 178 pages into this site. But now when I make the buttons from scratch they still mess up the other buttons.

maybe you need to get some help with making a button or post a couple of examples so we can see the problem.

          This maybe an option.

Get all your images prefixed by the page name.

Go through your pages in BV and click 'Tools' > 'Options' > 'Publish Tab' and then check the box that says 'use page name for image prefix'
