I feel ya! I regret not being more forward and 'befriending' many of the Buddies we share when they were still hanging around .... now that they are gone, I am left only with memories of better times.
It really is more than us simply getting older, or just getting to a comfort level using the technologies so we aren't so dependent on being around to pick up more, especially since BV keeps evolving and adding tricks we need to re-learn. It really is noticable how things have become less personable and more depressing. And you're right ... if there were less real problems that affected so many of us with such devastating effect, I am sure my spirits at least would remain much higher, even if it was mostly a new and devious crowd (and they are devious and unthinking)!

But I do miss all the Oldsters! We were totally cool and crazy at the same time. Remember the Piano Bar, the Officer's Club, and the antics we pulled in the open forums? Yeah, Baby - now THAT's what I'm talking about!
