Hey, d'you know it's the longest day of the year today? With all the cloud though doubt if we'll get to appreciate it. Oh - that's for those of us on top of the world anyway!

Just off to an external meeting today - they always do a great LUNCH which is the reason I go!! Yippee!

(Gee - only 8.00am and I'm already thinking of lunch!)

Anyway, cross fingers for me that my car doesn't break down on the M25 - Road works and dodgey clutch are not a good combination.

Good morning to all! I'm a little late jumping in, but saw all the talk about KFC. Do you fine folks in the UK have a Chick-Fil-A? Beats KFC hands down! Here it is 1:00am in the morning and now I want some chicken......Oh well, I guess I'll head for bed instead. Have a good day!

Now why didn't you tell me that before I visited the states? Oh well, will have to try that next year. No, we're just stuck with KFC here. Oh, and a few 'Dixie Fried Chickens' which seem to look a bit dubious (although taste ok).

Im going to go the chinese route....salty/pepper scallops...yums...and shrimp fried rice...hot n sour soup...crab ragoons...mmmmmmmmmmmm.
and one of those huge bowl drinks in the middle of the table...

Oh yes!! Chick-fil-A has been venturing into markets all over the world. I know they have 2 in Africa. They are even out in California. Here in Colorado Springs, we have 4 stores. Ok, Ok, the truth be told, I am a wee bit partial as my brother operates 3 of the 4 stores here in Colorado Springs. They are the rage here! The drive throughs constantly have long lines going out into the street, but you can be at the back of the line and have your food in under 5 minutes. They are known here not only for their great chicken, but fast drive throughs. A survey conducted nationwide had Chick-fil-A coming in as #1 in the fastest drive throughs! Ok, like you all really wanted to know that! But I guess every store different depending on its owner/operator. My brother helped open 1 of the stores in Africa. He is well respected in the Chick-fil-A company because of how well his stores do. I guess I've bragged enough....Off to work I go! Have a GREAT DAY!

Ive been off dealing with the trials n tribulations of my youngest son...when your 20yrs old EVERYTHING is a major issue, and if its not then they will try to create it so....but for an old coot like me it just gives me a stomach ache!...lol..still working on his issues and my health..lol...but Im here learking around...lol..
Hows the tiny baby mini-pony....Im not horse ****...lol....

By the way, driving round the M25 today I noticed a new craze (let's face it, there is plenty of time to notice everything driving round the M25!!). Anyone else noticed the growing number of cars with white sticks coming out of them?

No, it is not, as my hubby suggested, a sign the driver is visually impaired (although judging from some of the driving......!!), it is where the England flag has come off! Makes me smile - do they realise???

I never did get to watch the video..saw a little bit but it kept freezing for me...its my connection/not anything on your end!...
