Everybody plays football in the world cup, except The USA. They come and play soccer.
Yep.. I know what you mean.. they call it 'Soccer' here too in Australia.. and I'm sick of having arguments with everyone trying to explain to them that Football is what they call soccer.. Many get upset and think that I am trying to rip them off the name and ask: so what do we call our Football..?? My answers is.. well, dunno.. but the name 'Buncha doofs bumping into each other' sounds like a perfect name for Rugby.. Thats just my thought.
Yes please...a nice yummy rum punch or some such fruity drink ...all though my Russian friends have gotten me onto vodka with 'TING' a jamaican grapefruti flavored soda...yummy. (Really though ...I'm a light weight and usually the desiganted driver.)....lol

Ah...I always said it was rugby except they don't wear protection in rugby...do they...either way...it's football everywhere in the world ...especially since we use the 'foot' to play the ball and not carry it with our hands to reach the goal....I think I've said my piece...although I don't really know much about either sport....:))
I'd rather watch show jumping or fencing....but that's just me.

Me too Beezz - I'm with you there!
It was funny in the US when my son's cousin said he'd teach him to play 'football' - my son immediately went to kick it, and couldn't understand when he ended up playing a game of 'catch'!
