Well, actually I have someone coming over tonight so I can show her how to edit the guestbook etc, and she'll be looking after the emails for me. Websites are as bad as pets when you go away - perhaps someone should set up a website sitting service! LOL

so there I was, chatting to my friend about the site, sharing pizza and drinking wine (well, you have to be sociable don't you?), then we decided to go to the PC so I could show her what to do - but (you've probably guessed it) I hadn't noticed the time! 9.05 pm - and ..... NO CONNECTION!

I swore - I really swore!

I've just noticed that 'An Open Letter' has been closed. Personally I think that is very naughty. It is such a humorous and informative thread, which really does seem to make some difference around here and is referred to by many. Many, many forum members, VH staff and members alike have requested that it be made a sticky. This is everyones' forum and our views should count for something around here. Shame on you VodaHost.

I don't know the answer to that, David. The mind boggles though. If it had been made a sticky and closed then it wouldn't be anywhere near the monster that it is now. We wouldn't have needed to keep bumping it. Maybe we should all add it to our signatures!!! If you can't get heard maybe we should find a better way of shouting!

This is really frustrating though. We, in all honestly, are the ones that deal with the majority of the questions and people referred to in 'Open'. It contains loads of valuable pointers of how to use and behave in the forums. It's an invaluable resource. It no fair :o((
