I am a 4th generation Texan and love history, genealogy and digital photography. I never had the chance to take photography classes but I give it my best.
I am 52, divorced with three grown daughters. No grandchildren as yet.
My apt is shared with a beautiful 4yr old cat that I found as a kitten. I was in a cemetery (one of my favorite "haunts") when he and his sister came out of the woods...evidently abandoned by some cruel human. They looked to be abt 5 or 6 wks old and starving. Of course I kept them! She went outside when she was abt a yr old and I never saw her again.(Living in the city, I kept them inside.)
His name is Little Boy (original huh!) and he is the most loving and gentle animal. He weighes 10lbs now!
I also have a little Chihuahua. His name is Paco and he is abt 6 mo. old. He & Little Boy play all the time and keep each other company while I am at work.
Hi Sherry! Welcome to the Lounge. You are very welcome. That's a timely little rescue you pulled off there, nice one. Sorry though, I'm a long way from Houston. Lol.

Hey Sherry! Im a 5th generation Vermonter. Quite a ways away from Texas! I had a look/see at your photos. I love old photos they are so cool. There is a place in Lake George NY that does old type photo prints and I want to go back and get some photos taken!
Welcome and good luck here at VH!
Perhaps we ought to go for the most unoriginal pet name - I have a six year old cockatiel and he has been stuck with the name 'Big Bird' as we could never think what to call him!
