Evening Trish. I saw your post about the weather here. Did you realise that, in London, yesterday it actually reached 126 degrees? That's damn hot for anywhere, let alone here! I was nearly melting let alone the flippin' roads! LOL

I remember poking at melted tar bubbles with an old lolly stick when I was about two years old. A great way to pass the time and annoy my mother! LOL

Even AllStar has been tip-toeing rather infrequently. I even emailed him for a help on tweaking my phpBB but haven't heard from him....

It is hot isn't it? Is it the weather or has lincs set the heating to high?
That wouldnt be 1976 would it? I remember (as an insanely young child!) lady birds every where, millions of the little buggers!

I remember that summer and the flippin' ladybirds! We went out collecting them, must have had about a million in an old fish tank with twigs and stuff. They died :o(( We were only little though! LOL My stepdad had a lime green Morris Marina estate and went to Southport for the day. The ladybirds covered the whole car!! LOL

I was too embarrassed to ask openly in the Forum....really hampered my "freedom" having this Star, you know???
I emailed Gary the same day I stopped in his Forum to say hi, and I already know Dan is too busy as well to offer neener-neener help on my phpBB when it seemed certain I was following his advice to go vBulletin.....WHATEVER!

In the meantime, I'm prancing 'bout the Forum trying to offer what little assistance I can without coming across like Patton, but I swear it's like bazillions of mosquitos in there! Did you see Bee got promoted? Bill too?? Starting to make me feel old...... Linda, Cindy, Kate, Sharon still pop in once in a while, so I figure it's probably a "Summer" thing.....

......and, Alien is still polluting the place! I don't think his digestive system can do without a fat Spammer more often!

Yeah, I know.....I WAS though, and some things jus kinda "stick"!

Last time I posted, I couldn't get an answer (or a solution) to what I thought was a very simple thing (aren't they all LOL), so I'm still reeling from the strain to get out of my own head and focus on plodding along....

If I can turn the energy I pour into this Forum into real personal progress, I would be soooo much better off. I find myself logging in to escape the frustrations of the day, and have noticed that I have cut back on smoking too!
Now, if I can apply that for my penchant for good coffee...... LOLOL

Funny.....I was struck by a reply post someone made toward the end of an intricate exchange where they were profusely thankful to me (surprise to me!) and reminded me how everyone pores over the threads gobbling everything up like it's Gospel. I know I used to also.... But now, somehow, it seems different...."rank" does have privileges, AND responsibilities too...
