I noticed someone mentioned having headaches on here. I've been having constant headaches non stop for over 2 months. I have a shunt in my brain to treat hydrocephalus as well.

I had the shunt put in in 2004 but I think it is malfunctioning but doctors here in Minnesota won't do anything about it. It's a good thing I'm going to Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2 1/2 weeks to have an expert neurologist who deals with nothing but adult hydrocephalus patients take a look at me and if surgery is needed... replace the shunt. I just hope I can "hang on" until I get there August 28th without going into a coma.

I even called my neurologist here this week demanding to be seen since I have all these new symptoms such as vomiting, pain behind the eyes ect. and I was told NO! The only thing that was done was the nurse said the neurologist would add Topomax to my current medications I'm already on to see if that will work and this was done without me being seen or having lab work or anything and I'm on quite a few medications now.

Anyway, I just hope nothing worse happens before I can get to Maryland.... I'm a bit scared.....
