              1 pint glass-1/4 pint of southern comfort-lots of ice-1/3 of a chopped lime-topped of with lemonade. One lap top & 1 garden.
              It’s a nice 75 degrees in London & we are making the most of it.

              Hope some of you are doing the same.

              PS. The pint of southern is not greed, it just saves going back inside so often. Well thats my excuse. Hic!

                  whats the recipe of mead? kinda sounds familiar...but cant recall...is it like a grain mesh?
                  I have always understood it as a honeyed wine or beer. I was most familiar with the medieval version because I'm crazy about that period..castle etc.

                  I have an old medieval cook book ...somewhere...and it's has some recipes ofr mead...I thought it sounded great....

                  The site by collectors-info..is great..really gives nice explanation and sounds fun..makes me want to dust of the ole cook book and start distilling....sounds almost like moonshine if you ask me....hehe..lol

                      You know this reminds me of wassail and elderberry wine for some reason...had the former and loved it...always wanted to try elderberry wine...sounds sweet and delicious....lol

                        They weren’t silly back then. I think the main & best reason for mead made with honey & other similar things, is the amount of sugar that would be in most recipes, & we know what sugar turns into.
