Android/***** Icon

I have added the icon to the root directory which is viewable at www.airportandcity.com/*****-touch-icon.png and have added the following two lines of code between the head tags on each page as instructed:-

<link rel=”*****-touch-icon-precomposed” href=”/*****-touch-icon.png”/>



I have attempted to bookmark the site with my Galaxy Note and it is not bringing up the icon. Any ideas?

In previous posts we have already addressed the issues of Phone browser versions being different than computer browsers to no avail. Apparently you maintain unreasonable expectations (for whatever reason) that are complicating your visual acceptance of proper website functionality across mobile devices.

And, as we have also previously discussed, you cannot fully integrate Web Design using BlueVoda or cPanel access (to configure Webmail, for instance) using a mobile device and their peculiar softwares. Google for a solution is you think there is one!

I am not sure that we are talking about the same thing. I am not trying to design a mobile website, I am quite happy with the way that mine displays on a mobile. I did search the forum before contacting you but found nothing relating. With regards to searching Google, that is where I got this information from. I have added below:-

Further to my previous post I have now found that the icon works on the ****** but not on a Galaxy Tab or Note
