Q1. How to automatically allow the users to Login, once they have registered through Login/Password format?

Q2. I would like to update the and display database of to all the registered users, once they login. How can it be done?

To explain my questions further........

1. I want users to register on the site. Once successfully registered, they should be immediately able to login. If I understand tutorial correctly, the users have to be given access by administrator, before they can login. Can it be done, the way it happens in most of sites.

2. I want to allow all registerd user to view & search the database of all the users, based on search capability om the fields in the database.
