I would like the visitors to register with usernames & passwords and then login to the site. Please help me with suitable options/tutorial.

i think login to the site like a members only area, i think, because thats what i want too lol unless if its something else. Like a Members Area for Members only viewable pages? Oh and would we be able to sell memberships for our sites? Lol im just curious of all the things you can do =)
