A few Questions Before I sign-up!

Do I have to have my own server or can I do this all on my own PC. I keep reading about servers and got confused by that.

I plan to sign-up for the 1 year hosting. Does the fee start the day I sign-up or the day my site is actually published for the 1st time? I have a lot of products to add and it might be a while before I actually publish for the first time.

I like the Soholaunch and plan to go with that. I went through most of the tutorials and it looks easy with template color options and many other features and of course includes the shopping cart. Will it be easy to add in my Authorize.net credit card authorization company and Humboldt merchant account info to the shopping cart?

Do orders go to an email address when they are completed?
