I am going to join up, pay annually, but don't understand what a set up fee is for and if I need it. I have no domain name yet, starting from total ignorance. Consider this the first of a gazillion questions.....

The set up fee is for people that want to pay monthly...If your website is going to be
a long term thing. Select yearly payment and save yourself some cash.
