    Very basic questions

    Hi,
Could anyone tell me what is domain ID protection? and what is dedicated IP address?
I could guess what they could be, but I would hear from experts. Thanks

When you register a domain name usually your personal information (name, address, phone number, etc) is listed for the whole world to see. Domain ID Protection is when the registrar uses their information instead of your when its registered

A dedicated IP address is an IP address for only your website. On each server, which hosts 100's of websites, all of which share the same set of IP addresses. If you purchase the dedicated IP only your website will use that IP (This is mainly needed for website that use SSL)

Do you use a Password Protected Directory? Need a way to allow users to make their own account, try my .htaccess Login Script
