e-commerce for downloadables

Hi, I have been working on a site to sell children's books that I have written. I want them to be downloadable/printable like e-books. Can Voda set me up for that?
Another query, can I get started creating the site even though I dont have all of the subtext pages finished, or should I wait until its all ready? I am also going to use the site as a newsletter to discuss holistic education. Does a Voda web site support blogs?

There is scripts you can install for e-commerce, but im not sure if you can do downloads with it, ive never used them.

You can use blogs, there are 3-4 you can that can be installed with Fantastico.
