Does the hyperlink to a new page work in the "preview"

Does the hyperlink to another page work in the "preview" or only once the site is published? I cannot get my main page (index.bvp) to link to next page (venue.bvp) even if I change the extention to (venue.html).

Re: Does the hyperlink to a new page work in the "preview"

Hyperlinks (and other functions) will not work in PREVIEW as there is no real page for them to link to using the protocols required --- an unpublished page does not have a specific IP address and definitive URL address because it is a single page on the local system only.

BlueVoda creates encrypted page files that can only be un-encrypted to generate properly formatted HTML when published to VodaHost servers (meaning you must purchase hosting from VodaHost to publish any pages created using BlueVoda). This is why saved page files are seen with the ".bvp" extension, and after publishing (and the un-encrypting during the publishing process) they are converted to the proper ".html" format.

When creating Hyperlinks, you should always use the prescribed method outlined in the Tutorials, and (for example) a proper link would look like this: "www.YourSite.com/venue.html" and for your "index" page, simply "www.YourSite.com" as the "index" page is always defaulted as the first page of the website.

Review the Tutorials that detail the different manners of Hyperlinking (#10-14), paying special attention to Tutorial #12.
