I do not know where to start

I have signed up for VodaHost webbuilder and have my domain name but do not know where to go from there. I used the website builder to start creating my website but it doesn't allow me to publish. Contacted support who gives me a username/pw to cpanel but I don't know what cpanel is or what to do with it. Do you have anything that walks a person through step by step on how to get started in building a website?
