Doing a site for someone else

I have been asked about doing a site for a friend. Would I do that through my own host account or have them get one of there own?

You can build it on yours. Just make sure you keep everything seperate and when you hand it over copy all the files associated with it including images etc...

You should be able to upload it from your computer because they will have a seperate sign in & password for that account.
