ecommerce functions in £sterling?

Hi Excuse me if this has already been asked, but here goes anyway..... I'm based in the UK and want to build an ecommerce site. With the various shopping carts you offer, can all transactions be completed using £ sterling? Have to say I'm well impressed with what I've seen on here so far! One further dumb question: When I build my site, it will (eventually) offer several hundreds - maybe thousands - of low-cost products. What is my best way to go? Use BlueVoda or SoHoBuilder? Thanks for your patience - and thanks in anticipation of a response!

First of all, thanks for the quick response!

I'm planning to sell prints and photographs, so probably up to 1,000 individual products in all (I'm at a very early stage in planning!)

I aim, initially, to use Paypal (already have a business account) but I'm not in a position to go for a fully-featured merchant account with the big card providers or banks. (This is 'back bedroom' commerce at the moment)

On this same topic, I'd like to be able to use Nochex for UK customers in addition to paypal.

Bottom line, though, is my desire to display pricing in £sterling - hope this all makes some kind of sense!

For 1,000 products I highly recommend that you use osCommerce..It is the

Thanks again - I've just dived in to the OS Commerce tutorials and it looks like it will offer me what I want.
