Maintaining a forum with VH

Hi. I don't know if this belongs here so please move it if it doesn't.

My question is, if the entire website I am creating consists only of a forum/message board (as the index page and there are no other pages to the site), could I maintain it entirely online (on any computer) without having to store anything on my PC.

Yes, you can easily do this. This is not a problem.

A forum is nothing more than a glorified Content Managment System CMS.
All CMS's, once they are set up they can easily be administered through an
online control panel.
