Current domain name registered with Network Solutions. Do I have to transfer registrar, or can I just use DNS of VodaHost to point my domain to this host?

You can transfer your domain name to vodahost after 60 days(if its new)
OR you can POINT your dns to the vodahost servers after you have opened an account.
