    help with html

I haven't be able to figure out how to edit the html with this latest builder or admin update. I am trying to post this code from americasbest.com
    and the image won't post.

    <center> <a href="http://www.americasbest.com/" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="http://www.americasbest.com/images/ab_listed_on.gif" alt="AmericasBest.com" width="115" height="119"></a></center>

    Same with this one:

    <center><a href="http://www.goodsearch.com/">
    <img src="http://www.goodsearch.com/_gfx/title_smaller.gif" alt="GoodSearch smaller logo" style="border:0px;" />
    </a></center>
<center><br>Support your favorite school or charity when you<br> search the web with GoodSearch! It's FREE!</center>

Can someone tell me the new steps now? I have been able to get text links to work.
    Thank you,
    Lorena

    Re: help with html

    Hi Lorena

You will want to place that code in a html box ...

Go to Insert, Advanced, Html, double click the html box, insert the code and then view to see the actual size and where you want to place this ...

The actual size of the image is in the html code as well, but viewing you will get it right ...

Holly.. that wont work with SOHO LAUNCH no html box! LOL

      Lorena

First off you need to and the target = blank codes to those links

      <a target="_blank" href

and you copy the code into soho by opening a text box, switching to the html mode on the bottom of the text box and then press control key and the V key at the same time. Or, you can just type it in.

alternately you can do this in notepad, save as yourcodepage.html or whatever you want to name it.. just an example, then drag the custom include to your soho page, and browse and upload it, then select it in the drop down.

Thats all there is to it.

        Hi Karen,
Delayed response I know, was called out of town suddenly.
You've lost me here...I must be running a newer version bc there's no longer the 2 buttons (Html/edit or save) at the bottom & I think you must have left out some typing in the first sentence below. LOL!

          Lorena

No.. I didnt leave anything off. I was telling you HOW to make that link open in a new window. Edit the link to add the target= _blank part so it wouldnt take someone off your site!

Secondly.. those buttons still remain in soho on the text editor. First open the page you want to add the link TO. Then either double click on a TEXT box you already have there to edit it, or drag a NEW text box down to the soho page. Now double click on it, choose the ADVANCED method and tick the check box first that says always use this method. NOW on the bottom of the text editor, on the left, you will have three tabs.. normal, html and preview.. now click the html put your curser in the box where u want the link to appear, and use the ctrl V method to PASTE the link in there! Dont forgot to switch BACK to normal when you are done, so you can click the save tab way on the right.

You just forgot what you were doing because you havent been working there recently.. thats all.
