    Addon to Soho

I am having a problem with an addon. The Soho site is http://safersecurityproducts.com I built this site and it works fine.

I did an addon that I thought added on the first site. The second site is

I have completed 7 pages with one of them as index and published them I can open the index page but can't open any other pages.

I have studied the videos searched this forum and have not found a solution yet.

Could it be that One site is Soho and the other is Blue Voda?

I have also been to support and been trying to clear this up over a week now.
Hopefully someone can tell me what I need to know.

    Thanks
    Roy

as far as i am concerned you are allowed only one soho account per hosting. now if you are speaking about blue voda/vodahost you can have as many domain names or websites as add ons as you wish. we found it a lot easier when we separated the soho hosting with vodahost hosting. yes it cost an extra $100 per year but there wasnt any possibility of mixing the accounts up.

Your second domain would be an ADDON domain. When you publish with blue voda you need to change the path to publish..

      public_html/carstopedal/

Then you would publish your bv pages there.

What has probably occured is that you have overwritten your soho site with bv pages...and it most likely will be a mess to sort out, if you didnt change the path.

If you email me your cpanel logins and your soho logins ill take a look and see what i can do to sort it out.

<edit> I see both sites just fine. Both operate for me just fine. Your bv needs a little work with what you display on the nav buttons and you need to actually publish other pages.. but everything looks in order so im not sure what you are asking? or whats out of order exactly...skip the soho just send me the cpanel login

One more thing... You can NAME these pages anything on the nav buttons and in your page properties..except for the index page..but on your nav button you dont have to call it index, you can call it home.. you just need to link to the dot com

When you are saving pages.. dont save with the .html just save

IE: airplane the default extension is airplane.bvp

When you publish it will be html on the server. It renders it as html when you publish.

Hi Karen, thank you for your help.
I published all the pages as public_html/carstopedal.com when I published them. I looked at the FTP file that I made and they were there listed in the file.

You said "skip the soho just send me the cpanel login" where would you like me to send it?

            Hello Again Karen,

Thank you for your help. I went back over what you said and went back in and reworked all the pages and they seem to work just fine now.

I do find some of the Videos a little confusing or maybe it's just me but I can see things are coming togather now and the catagory links and footer links seem to work as well.

            Thanks again for your help
